Baikala Dragons are mysterious beasts that inhabit the lesser-known depths of deep lakes and oceans. These exceptional swimmers actively hunt whatever live prey has the misfortune to draw near, and have even been known to breach in order to snag low-flying prey directly out of the air. Though it is unknown exactly how intelligent Baikala are, they are exceptional strategists and problem solvers. Their two heads seem to think and behave as one.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Crest and Trough lives in Nugget Lake, and his dozing spot and visiting area is in the side part of the nugget where the three gravestones are. All three are a couple of incisor-lengths in the water. They were placed recently, not by Crest and Trough. He doesn't know where they're from and whether someone decided to put them here for a specific reason. The text on them is in the common tongue, referring to breeds he's pretty sure he's never snatched and killed. His minds once debated on whether he should dig up these foreign objects placed in his water without his permission, but they agreed that it's convenient to have a land- er, watermark when directing people to his dozing spot and visiting area. Before then, Crest and Trough would telepathically assure visitors that they can come to the side part of the nugget, a part of the lake where he won't attack anyone, but they'd be confused which part is the side part. Now, it's the side part of the nugget where the three gravestones are.
