Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pax is a very simple dragon. He likes calm. He likes quiet. He'd prefer Recila's Cave to not be the den of madness it is, but—well. It's basically become an insane asylum, so he doesn't voice that particular thought very often. Still, he wonders if it would be too much to ask if the dragons would stop using him as a therapist and-or stress reliever. Soulpeace dragons might be well known for their natural ability to sooth, but really, he just wants to be left alone for a few hours a day. Even thirty minutes would be bliss.

(Oddly enough, leaving Recila's Cave for longer than one hour has never occurred to Pax. This may or may not be due to the fact that he kind of likes feeling needed.)
