Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Qucy is longest serving retainer of the crown princess of Greycliff. Along with having physical might, he is adept at water magic. He operates under the assumption that if Her Highness and the other royals wanted to see someone, they would arrange a meeting first; therefore, Qucy's regular routine every day is to keep watch at the entrance and prevent people from entering willy-nilly. Though he isn't malicious by any definition of the word, his dark and dour nature, in addition to his strength, makes his job much easier. While there are many blanks in Qucy's family history (he simply turned up in the neighboring Jiushan one day decades ago, claiming to be from a faraway place), what the citizens heard from him is that many of his family members were petty and engaged in squabbles—squabbles that drew in and harmed innocents. It's no wonder he wanted to leave them.
