Ghanser Dragons are a small but extremely mischievous breed of dragon found in marshes, swamps, and ponds. Their two heads are active and gluttonous, searching any crevices or rocks they come across for food. They are omnivores that will eat shellfish, crustaceans, bugs, fruits, taproots, tubers, and soft leaves and grasses. Ghanser defend themselves from would-be predators with short-range precognitive abilities: they can see predators approaching before it actually happens, and avoid them entirely. This also means that when they come across human settlements, they cause trouble whenever they know they won’t be caught.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.
User Description
Passing Out and Waking Up lives in Saint Oner Barrio, which the populace has voted the safest and most sienna of the barrios. He enjoys the safety, but sometimes when he's bored, he visits the Go-Around Barrio to sightsee and look for little souvenirs. The many interesting elements and hazards found nowhere else but the Go-Around Barrio make a Ghanser like him look awfully mundane by comparison, and that is pretty exciting. He's rarely in actual danger because of his precognitive ability. He is one of the few residents of Saint Oner who still spell out the barrio's name. Most dragons write it as St. Oner, with some even doing away with the period, and a handful even mash it into a single word. Passing Out and Waking Up is devising ways to convince others that this is inappropriate and to stick with the full name. His plans involve putting in extra effort to bring other two-headed dragons to his cause, since each dragon should count as two individuals.
