Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hemimorphia WinterTouch (after the gemstone: Hemimorphite) joined the clan cave as its 74th member during an exciting time. With the addition of Sillmantythe into the clan, there was an electrifying hum in the air, and the still new Golden element upon the hearts and minds of all the clan dragons. She thrived in this environment, and even though as a hatchling she felt the sizzling sting of her clan brother more than once, she grew healthy and strong. The pair shares a kinetic friendship, and now that she has matured and commands her own unique talents over the snow and ice, she is by no means outmatched, nor over powered by his teasing antagonism! The Clan Mother smiles each time she gets her licks into his hide, although she worries that the rather frequent freezing of his scales may eventually cause some long terms consequences. Perhaps sadly, Hemimorphia has yet to find her own place within the clan cave; she seems far too preoccupied by her continual mission of friendly revenge!
