Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Standing On The Rooftops arrived in the cave early one morning in March. She had an average run-of-the-mill childhood and had no problems surviving. However, one day, when she was older, she saw that the space on the scroll where the genders of the other dragons in the cave were written was empty next to her name. She announced that she was female, and even though the spot on the scroll remains empty, the other dragons know better than to refer to her as "it". One day, she noticed that the other dragons all had mates or another adult of the same species to spend time with, and she became lonely. She approached Larksaf, the eldest Magi, and asked for his help. It was not long afterwards that Nemo My Name Forevermore arrived in the cave. The two of them get along very well and spend the majority of their time together.
