As winter ends, Thousand Wish Dragons emerge from the deep depths of the oceans to head towards the extensive forests and fields of Valkemare, where new life has begun to sprout. The rain they bring forth is rich with Life mana, growing flora and healing ailments, while their lightning strikes down intruders, reducing them to ash for the soil. This develops verdant environments—with flowing raw mana reserves and flourishing inhabitants—in which they may feed and live in comfort. Their life-giving rain and protective lightning have led to worship in many agricultural villages, where they tie colorful strips of fabric to their oldest trees to send up their respect and wishes to their draconic deity. Though not possessing true divine powers, Thousand Wish Dragons do their best to look after the people who trust them during their stay, until the time to return to the ocean arrives when the harvest ends and the branches grow bare.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Punq (pronounced "pun q", not "punk") enjoys playing ball games with denizens of "his" Beech Town and often joins tag football matches. Because people want to be worthy opponents for him, many of them have improved since he started playing alongside them. Except one incident where he zapped the ball into ash after a bad defeat, he's a good sport. Punq's assistance has helped numerous players get into the Great League regional team, the Granite Tarsals, and they elevated the team. In the League, the visiting team provides field dots and balls for a match. One time, an opposing team claimed that before a match with the Tarsals, "an azure beast" struck their ball bin with lightning and vaporized every ball. Hence, the game had to be canceled. Everyone knew they were afraid of the Tarsals and decided to lie and dishonor Punq. So famous was the scandal that the next year Punq arrived at Beech Town, he learned a new idiom: when people are weak and cowardly, it is said that they lack balls.
