Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Purple Traitor is always afraid of getting into trouble with the adults and keeps to himself. He was terrified when one day, they were talking among themselves about some wrongdoer, and he had a feeling they were talking about him because they gossiped about "the purple-traitor of the crime". He was the only purple dragon around, so he must've been in trouble. Luckily, the adults seemed to forget about him after a while.
