Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Pyralspite dragons are small, swift dragons that can breathe an intensely hot flame. They get their name from their resemblance to and affinity for garnets of the pyralspite family—they hoard such gems, preferring garnets that match their variant, and can tell the type of garnet from how it tastes. The dark red variant is known as Pyrope. They tend to be fiercely loyal and noble, and have a stronger sense of justice than other Pyralspites. They live primarily in volcanic areas.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
A bit haughty but noble at heart, Rhodolite likes to pretend he doesn't care about others or their wellbeing, but he's actually a big softy. He can't stand the idea of others suffering around him, as much as he tries not to let it get to him. He has an especially weak point for small, young, or weak dragons, which he will aid in times of need. If he finds a pygmy caught in a storm, he can't help but shield them from the rain. If he spots someone bullying another, his immediate reaction is to step in and drive the villain off. Rhodolite is a pretty strong and agile fighter, even without his tempestuous flames. Everyone rings his praises, calling him a hero, a title he'd rather not take. Rhodolite is an antisocial, brooding dragon who doesn't get along well with others. Yet, he has this innate sense of justice and can't resist helping those in need. He hates it so much.
