Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The cave fell silent as a human child wandered in from outside. The dragons in the cave looked at each other, worried. There was a blinding flash of lightning followed by a loud clap of thunder that shook the cave. The dragons backed away from the entrance to the cave, but When The World Turns On You didn't. She looked curiously at the child. It needed to be taken home, but no dragon could manage to fly in this weather. The child's eyes widened as he spotted the dragons, and he backed toward a wall, uncertain if they were evil or not. When The World Turns On You sighed and took a step closer to the child, her head low and nonthreatening. She spread her wings slightly, blocking the rain from his face. The boy let out a small cry and wrapped his arms around When The World Turns On You's leg. She picked him up by his shirt and put him on her back. The other dragons wouldn't care if she died, but she put up her wings to shield the child from the storm, and walked toward a village anyways.
