Crystalline Dragons are a northern breed with icy skin and a ferocious temperament. Their scales are highly reflective and translucent, giving their hides a characteristic “ice crystal” appearance. Large and solitary, they roam mountainsides, tundras, and frozen wastes searching for food and occasionally mates. They have expansive territories and don’t generally roam far outside. If two similarly sized Crystalline Dragons do encounter each other, a vicious and explosive fight is soon to ensue.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cupbearer is one of the drinks bringers and servers during banquets and other meals at Zulu's Hall. The drinks are always served cold, and even if she could keep things hot, she seems disgusted at the prospect of any beverage warmer than bathroom tiles in the morning. It is rumored she didn't get this position through family connections, recommendations by superiors, or sponsorship like other employees but rather had something to do with her predecessor's sudden disappearance. Of course, people know not to say such things in the building where they can be heard, lest the room get encased in ice or Zulu come stomping out in annoyance to scold them about behaving respectfully.
