Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon finds the sufferings of 'daylight-dwellers' to be highly amusing, always dismissing their pain with the fact that they, at least, can live in the sun. It was this dismal outlook that estranged him from the other dragons, even most albinos, but... one still was kind to him, another albino named Palepaw. The two grew to be close friends, but... then he caught word of a new type of dragon, a race determined to destroying the sun.

The vampires.

Knowing his kindly friend would never see the world as he did, he departed in the middle of the night, joining up with a coven of the dark creatures. While they originally were going to feed on him, the undead had decided that having a dragon who could sneak amongst holy objects and limited sunlight on their side would be quite useful...

And so he now serves under their sadistic lord, Evisceratis, hoping to banish the sun and plunge the world into sweet, gentle darkness...
