Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
A lonely outcast, this creature was driven away from others of its kind due to a disease it was born with. This disease halts the production of the precious mucous that protects the breed from scorching in the sun, and since daylight--with its pain and beauty--is so revered among the species, anything that could further hurt their ability to bask in it is condemned immediately. And thus Witherhide now lives alone, coming out at dusk to observe that sweet, murderous light before she slips into the dark, abandoned and lonely, for the night's hunt.
