Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Greeva, unlike her father (Sicariss), does not want to cause discord in cave Ember, but can get a little rebellious. She hates it when her father, who is very stern with her, restrains her from her freedom. When he does let her go free she never wastes time, immediately launching herself into the sky, where she soars, sometimes alongside Agumenti, to a point where Sicariss has to come and fetch her. Greeva is usually the one leading all of the mischief in the group of juvenile and younger dragons, and the older dragons of cave Ember often have to remind Sicariss that he was just as a nuisance in his younger years, if he gets too stern with scolding Greeva.
