Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ohpu's egg was laid during uncertain times and was somewhat of an accident. It must have been very dark in the mating cave because Rokcoishin accidentally mated with his daughter Stone Ninja. The resulting egg, though it was one of the first rare Geode eggs to be laid in the Clan, caused quite the stir of debate among the dragons. In the end Purpletail couldn't rid herself of it and decided to raise the inbred mess. Ohpu is a rather proud dragon though he has no idea why he was named as he was. He is often seen slowly meandering though the Clan's territory looking for the sunniest spots to show off his beautiful crystal wings. He was given his title as Survivor of teh Lag for he was raised in a slow and uncertain time for dragons also so that he wouldn't start wondering why in the world he was named Ohpu.
