Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Political Correctness does not use the term "dragoness", but she cannot decide if there should be a term differentiating male dragons and female dragons. She also sometimes wonders if "people" can refer to humans only, or dragons and humans, or dragons and humans and other sentient creatures, maybe neglected dragons can't be people then, but that's kind of unfair because they're dragons, maybe "people" isn't a vague enough word... Political Correctness is a slow thinker and speaker, and sometimes people (hm...) think she makes too big a deal of trivial issues, but she wants to be fair and considerate to everyone.
