Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her nickname is Celest. She is a gentle, meek Moonstone who rarely shows herself in front of others. She pairs well with the patient, careful Leaf, who treats her with nothing but pure kindness and understanding. Celest has a very light, whispery voice. It is often difficult to hear her speak, given how quiet it is, so she rarely feels the need to do so. She communicates more through emotions than anything. Her face is very expressive, and it is easy to tell whenever she feels a strong emotion just by the looking. She tends to avoid others, though this is less because she is shy and more about how she only comes out at night. Even then, she only seems to make an appearance when the moon is either full or near full. She doesn't stay out long any other night and is totally absent during a new moon. During these nights, and most other times, Celest hunkers down in her cave, deep underground. The cavern is lined with moss which she will feed on until she gets her next dose of moonlight.
