Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

There has been much effort by the adult dragons to keep Wild Eternal Flame away from Dark Eternal GreenVines. Whenever the two hatchlings encounter each other, it ends in a violent fight with adults having to pry the two aggressive hatchlings apart and tend to their wounds. Wild Eternal Flame hates that it was frozen before it could develop its fire breathing abilities. Adults are glad it cant really breathe fire because the poor Dark Green hatchling might have been ashes by then if it could.
