On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Charlcie rarely finishes chores on time and spends the majority of her day lazily floating among kelp in the shallows. She has explicitly stated that she wants to be known as a mischief-maker, but she apparently spends more time devising pranks than actually carrying out any plans. A few times, she's been seen dragging herself onto land, in areas that visitors tend to go. To the other red-fins, this is very unusual because it cuts into kelp-floating time. Though Charlcie deflects questions, they think she could be attempting to meet some land-dwelling creatures to interact with. Or perhaps grab some mischief-making tips from outsiders.
