Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. They say that Starstone Demark's egg had odd markings written on it that would start fires if people tried to read them. It's hard to believe, but it might explain her... eccentricity. She is obsessed with clothes and accessories and strives to be clothed at all times. When other dragons point out how strange that is, she explains that the reasons humans don't think highly of dragons is because dragons are naked and thus are probably seen as lacking a sense of style. Naked people are not respected; in fact, in the town Starstone Demark frequents, they're often punished or escorted indoors. That's why she wears a mishmash of articles, always accompanied with a hat. When she marches into that seaside town, everyone acknowledges and stares at her, which (probably) means that they respect her. Silver dragons have often been described as stunningly beautiful. Starstone Demark is merely stunning.
