An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Typical hoards contain shiny metals and pretty rocks, and the owners sleep on or beside their collections. Well and Good hoards cats. This is not as easy as a human keeping a bunch of cats because his cave is wide open, allowing pieces of his hoard to walk out. Also, he is a dragon living in a network of tunnels and formations housing scores of dragons, some of whom like the taste of cat. This is why Well and Good's hoard consists of only five cats at most. They are always on edge and ready to bolt, they don't like being pushed into a pile, and they definitely don't let their collector lie on top of them. A few dragons have suggested that he kill the cats and keep each one's fur or skull instead of the whole living cat, but he has demurred—both heads eerily think in unison whenever they speak on the matter of keeping pieces of cats. Neighbors are often treated to a sight of Well and Good with an upset cat under each arm, half-slithering, half-flapping clumsily back to his chambers.
