Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When a strange egg was brought back by the Castle Master, none knew what it was, except that it smelled like death itself. Those looking over the other eggs and hatchlings were told to raise it, regardless it was stone cold and appeared as though it'd never hatch. So they did as they were told, and put it with the other eggs. It took only a few days for disaster to strike. One of the caretakers woke up to the sound of cracking and a sickening squeal, and rushed to see what was wrong. She found Vrius, only a hatchling, breaking through the shells of other eggs and violently drinking the occupants blood.

Since then she has been locked up in a cell far beneath the surface, far away from any other living being. Only the alpha dragons or the Castle Master dare go near her, usually to toss her a carcass as her "food". On such occasion one can hear her manic laugh echoing throughout the stone corridors, a reminder of her cold and insane existence.
