Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mate to the eldest Vampire within the Cave, Sahqondur has learned to deal with everything from spilt blood to an overly cranky partner when it comes to managing the activities of the nocturnal species within the Cave. Alongside Sosrahgol, Sahqondur holds equal power in controlling the activities of the Nightwatch, a group of Vampire dragons specially chosen for their ability to deal with problems created by their own kind, as well as problems created by other nocturnally active species. With an aptitude for problem solving, it's no wonder Sahqondur is able to juggle her duties with the Nightwatch, and her commitments as Unahzaalbahlok's partner.

When not dealing with the Coven or caring for her partner, Sahqondur finds solace in practising white magic, something unheard of among her kind within the Cave. This probably stems from her white dragon heritage, thus making her quite the oxymoron and often the subject of confusion from other species of magic favouring dragons.
