Found along the coast and in nests high above the ground, Mistra Dragons are respected for their gentle nature. They are known to adopt any abandoned eggs or hatchlings that they find and raise them as their own, singing softly to lull their young into a deep sleep. As a result of their close relationships with their families, Mistra Dragons tend to live in large, close groups. They use their large numbers to their advantage for many things, including putting on shows (of sorts) and frightening predators away from their nests.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mistra-stful was abandoned when she was very young, so she had no one to care for her and had to find food and shelter on her own. She lost count of the number of close calls that nearly ended her life. She still lives by herself, on some land in the Yam Valley that she acquired for herself fair and square (asking some dragons really, really nicely). Her territory is no bigger than the floor plan of the average house. Humans were initially confused when Mistra-stful showed them her land, but over time, they became less confused after she made additions so she had a skinny two-level building made of log and stone, like an actual house. Because the surroundings don't belong to her, she still has to find food by sneaking into places where the owners don't often traverse. Humans from nearby towns sometimes visit Mistra-stful to admire her house, and she recently learned that if she puts out a box and sings while there are people nearby, they will put food and money in the box.
