Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Sun Harpy has a dopey, vacant expression as his resting face. "Grave danger" to most people would be "inconvenience" to him. When a monstrous dragon comes roaring through Juliett Town or one of the bands of spirits have done SOMETHING to their plane of existence, Sun Harpy just wonders if that means he'll have to repair city hall and the roads again. Sun Harpy isn't terribly bright and mostly follows along and parrots other dragons, but he's adept at magic, to the amazement of those who know him for his blunders. While magic use should be no surprise for someone of his lineage and breed, his seeming empty-headedness is a major contributor. He puts himself in a zen state of mind free from all distraction, allowing him to perform tricky spells that the average magi would struggle with. He also doesn't suffer from any amount of performance anxiety or fear of failure; he doesn't think about judgment because he doesn't think at all.
