Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

This ochredrak never knew his real parents, but always assumed that wherever they were, they were happy. He was adopted and raised by a kindly Daydream dragon named Raconte. Silly Little Truffle was the name Raconte affectionately called him, for this drak always asked ridiculous questions and was never very observant. Silly Little Truffle accepted it as his official name, because it reminds him of childhood memories. Silly Little Truffle grew up with Raconte's whimsical tales and the characters from these tales remain his imaginary friends. He even picked up a storytelling talent himself. He will always remain a child inside. Silly Little Truffle never joined the Clan that Reconte was the alpha male of, because he was scared of the alpha female, Metiroku. However, he is still friends with many dragons from this clan.
