Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mugug is a generally displeased dragon. He is always angry at his twin brother, Akegert, and never was happy with his owners other dragons. Ever since he was born, his main joy in life was playing devious tricks on smaller dragons. Many times he has let young hatchlings crawl on his back to admire his dazzling fins, only to fly up into the sky, scaring them half to death. He holds a small love for water dragons, being mesmerized with their ways. So, he tends to stay near beaches and rivers, hiding behind or in trees while watching other dragons play and live. He hasn't worked a day in his life, and he says its because his right paw has a slight limp. He is always sure to exaggerate this injury as much as possible. Very few dragons actually enjoy his company, though a few other dragons have laughed at his mischievous and cruel tricks he plays on young hatchlings. His brother thinks him lazy and cruel, while he thinks of his brother as an overachiever. As he does the rest of the world.
