It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. BrightPurpleStorm is a strong Purple Dragon buck. He's a perfect specimen of an adult male Purple. BrightPurpleStorm is in the prime of his life. He spends a lot of training or hunting, honing his senses and keeping his body in a perfect state of health. He often spends a day going from one physical activity to the next. First, he'll wake at dawn and runs until he is short of breath; second, he will swim until he gets hungry; then comes hunting for lunch; finally, BrightPurpleStorm will fly until he's so far off that he doesn't recognize any of the scenery, with a trip finding his way home, to keep his mind sharp.
