Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Barsanus is the first offspring of one of the clan's founder Dorsanus Black Fury and the albino dragon Alvonz Red Eyes ;he is also the very first dragon in the clan to be born from a clan founder. Barsanus is once a lonely dragon, he rarely speaks and will only if asked or called, he tends to shy away from the rest of the clan and only amuse himself through staring down in the ground. The whole clan is trying their best to change Barsanus' attitude but it only made little progress until one particular battle took place between Iron Roar's elite group and a group of wild black dragons. Barsanus tried to avoid the fight and saw his long-time friend Lanwah Red Star which is mortally wounded. He saved Lanwah and eventually he became her mate and he realize that a life is once and he must be happy or he will regret not doing in the end.
