Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shy Tux, a scholar and explorer, studies the ways of the royal crimsons. To stay undetected among the populace, she wears a passably realistic dragon costume so she looks like a royal crimson, too. She's often seen with books and notes and takes notes on the dragons almost all the time. Shy Tux even sometimes talks to them, though she doesn't understand what they're saying. She was quite surprised that none of them can read her papers—dragons live for a very long time, so Shy Tux expected them to know a few languages. At least they are fine with her around.

Meanwhile, the other royal crimsons are close to giving up rehabilitating Shy Tux. It's been ten years since the accident, but the poor dragon still cannot form coherent words whenever he shares his thoughts. Also, he refuses to let go of her large collection of papers, all of which are blank, and recently has taken a shine to wearing tarpaulins. The white dragons say they know no magic that can help him and offer condolences.
