Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon, known to friends as Tabs, is "obviously a doctor". He points out that the identifying code given to him at hatching has "MD" in it, meaning he was always meant to become a "Medicine-ay Doctor", no matter what anybody says. Other dragons think Tabs is sore about not having stronger healing capabilities, and they're right. He was raised in the same clan that produced many white dragons, and as a hatchling, he couldn't keep up with their lessons. Tired of being the class's slow learner, Tabs trained for many years on his own, eventually specializing in dentistry. As skilled as he is, patients still prefer to seek the whites for medical aid, even for caries and gum disease, and being ignored has taken a toll on Tabs' psyche. Hence the "MD-means-obviously-a-doctor" shtick in order to prove himself or maybe advertise. Perhaps there's a niche for him in a human community.
