Diamondwing Dragons are named for the myriad tiny scales that grow on their wing membranes, lending them a faceted, lustrous appearance. These meticulous creatures will spend months ranging far and wide to collect the shiniest trinkets and gemstones to adorn their nests. Once his nest is complete, a male Diamondwing will perform an elaborate aerial dance hoping to impress potential mates with his beauty and prowess.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Groundnut is seen as infuriating and even bad for one's health by some humans and cute, amusing, and harmless by others. What other dragons think of him is a minor mystery, but since he has countless stories from his younger years about one dragon or another trying to harm him, it can be assumed that he's safer living in town with humans than in one of the cave networks. Groundnut talks in third person and amplifies his vocals with shrill telepathy, and because he likes the sound of his voice, he will narrate everything. "Groundnut will leave the square at sunhigh! This kaftan suits Groundnut's tastes! Groundnut is pleased with the layout of this buffet!" He's the kind of guy who walks into a parking lot to flash his wings at the cart owners present and mock them for being unable to fly. The people who say he is bad for their health reason that his behavior causes stress, and large amounts of stress are unhealthy.
