Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to get warmer and brighter when you are around it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Haversack is the wise advisor to Maharana, king of the trees. He gives her advice about tall trees, small trees, smoky trees, athletic trees, suspicious-looking trees, all kinds of trees. He knows a thing or two about trees and the sorts of things they get up to when the king is not paying close attention to them. He sometimes helps her punish the trees by crushing their fallen leaves, although he seems to enjoy the violence a little too much.
