Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon calls herself Mote3, and she has a big 3 proudly painted on her each of her wings, making her look somewhat like livestock. Other people may wonder who and where Motes 1 and 2 are—none of Mote1's siblings call themselves Motes or have any idea what she's talking about. When prodded about her odd name choice, Mote3's demeanor suddenly changes as she gleefully begins an improbable, frightfully elaborate tale about the fate of the other Motes. They were pet drakes who were turned into talc and pulverized with a hammer. Or Mote1 was a hatchling disemboweled with the spines of Mote 2. Or they're the names of a sword and shield made from the teeth of a Terrae dragon, extracted while he was conscious... Most people have learned not to ask Mote3 questions. Some use her stories as inspiration for their own writing.
