Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This Magi has long employed and abused dark magic, and as such, he was swiftly exiled from his homeland. That might have almost been the end of his story, had not the foolish king of his kingdom come crawling to him for help. The king was an aging Silver, and the crown could only be inherited by a Silver descendant, but his mate had produced only young of her kind. Desperate and running out of time, all the powers of his loyal mages exhausted, he turned to the very Magi he had exiled, knowing if any had the power to accomplish this task, it would be him. And so it was that the sly Magi accepted his old king's request--to have his wife birth a child not of her own breed--but with it he took his revenge; the queen gave birth not to a Silver, but to a Vampire, and the dark prince tore their kingdom apart shortly after. With that the Magi found himself satisfied, and now moves on in search of new lands to ruin.
