Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Black dragons have a natural affinity for magic. But for this female, that wasn't enough. Thus, at a very young age, she enrolled herself in an academy of the magics. But that was not enough. And so in her lust for power, she turned to a very black and ancient brand of magic: blood magic.

Growing up into a most powerful sorceress, she rules the area around her castle home with iron claws, demanding human sacrifice on a regular basis. Those who are given to her are not eaten, however; rather they are brought to her home, where she drains them of their blood as part of the most twisted and arcane rituals, using their suffering and their deaths to fuel her magic to new heights of power. These horrible ceremonies have led some to whisper that she must be a vampire, a rumor that never ceases to amuse her; she knows from personal experience that blood is much more useful for magic than for drinking.
