Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to enjoy sunbathing.

And look! It has grown much bigger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Small Licebi was raised alongside a group of prude and snobbish Terrae Dragons (lead by Goxu) who came to disregard the young one when she was frozen, finding her permanent adolescence to be an embarrassment to the group. Bored by the lives of most mature dragons, Licebi soon befriended a Mint dragon named Zulk, as well as all the other Mint dragons that nest in a particular large pile of rocks. Licebi finds their green color, small size, and flightlessness to be familiar to herself, and so she lives with them and has adapted many of their shy behaviors. While nervous around any creature much larger than a Mint dragon, she becomes very playful when in familiar company.
