As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Sora the Elusive, or simply Sora, is a young Night Glory Drake. She is a little bit shy and reserved, and spends a lot of time in the library, reading with her mate, Soarin' Skies. She is a huge bookworm, and reads just as much as Soarin', even though she can't read as well as him. Even though she is quiet and shy, she often sneaks into the nearby town at night and steals food for her clan, thus earning her title. The townsfolk have almost caught her many times, but she is good at blending into the dark colors of the night. She is quite intelligent, and has a "green claw" when it comes to gardening. In her spare time, she tends to her garden of grape vines, which she treats like her own children. She someday wishes to have an egg of her own with Soarin'. She is rivals, friends, and enemies with the cheerful Sunny Tides, a happy-go-lucky Day Glory, and they are constantly competing over everything, but deep down, they both care for each other.
