Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It chirps incessantly and loudly.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Loudmouthed is the host and writer of a game show of her own devising, "Are You Smarter Than a Bucket of Hay". There isn't any real competition, since the game is really her excuse to study a variety of topics and devise trivia questions to ask her friends while entertaining the audience on the beachfront stage. Nearly every one of the contestants of the show is smarter than the bucket of hay they are pitted against, except for one embarrassing instant where no contestants showed up so the hay won by default, and Loudmouthed then had to spend the rest of the allotted show time taking questions from the audience members and answering them to the best of her ability.
