Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The Singing Valentines is a group of Valentine dragons to visit (friendly) inhabitants of cave networks, towns, and other areas where humans and dragons dwell to present a song and dance act on behalf of a sender. They are Valentine gifts in musical form, one might say. Campsite is not one of them. She wishes she had the nerve to go up to them and ask to be a part of their group, but she's also somewhat certain they're close to each other and won't welcome an outsider. She's once anonymously sent an order to the Singing Valentines to have them come to her cave and perform, after which she would make small talk and bring up the possibility of membership, but she decided not to and silently watched them bid her farewell and leave her alone again.
