Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aria Dung is an officer in the Players-of-Words club, where once a month, members can get together on neutral ground to have fun with languages. Her favorite activity is something she calls Ars Magna, all about rearranging letters in words and phrases to make different words and phrases. It's nonsensical, merry word-making that occasionally produces faux-meaningful phrases. Sometimes, Aria Dung can even do this on the fly (lofty hen), interrupting her sentences to insert odd phrases (posh dreads). Whenever she does her cave duties (deuce vista) or takes on a guard job (broad jug), she may appear to be paying attention (opining natty tea), but she always has words on her mind. Oftentimes (smitten foe), she'll suddenly exclaim that she has made up a sweet new phrase (wet sheep answer) and broadcasts it to everyone within mind shot. Aria Dung is actually capable and highly regarded by past clients (pint castles), but she's never hired to babysit due to her strange outbursts (sour butts).
