Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As his name suggests, Destined By Fate seemed to have been a miracle for his mother, another alternate black. For most of his life as a hatchling, he was protected by his mother, Forever Midnight, so he did not have to go through her same pain. Because he was the second alternate to enter the cave, the other dragons treated him friendlier, knowing that appearances are not always everything.

Destined By Fate is a serious dragon, hardly ever messing around, but when he does, he is often seen playfully flying through the skies with a companion, or perhaps playing games with the younger dragons. He is easily saddened, though he refuses to let anyone see that. His sympathy is most often expressed towards other alternates, young and old.
