Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Raxculad, or "Raxy" as he hates to be called, doesn't quite fit the description for the "Evil Creature of the Night" title that many vampires are given. He is more of a doofus then anything else. He really hates drinking blood and biting eggs. Instead, he drinks soda. Though his owner has tried many a time to keep him out of her stores of root beer, he continues to ignore her and raid the fridge anyways. His owner has no idea why this happened, but suspects that Chardude may have caused some amount of brain damage when he incubated his egg for much too long. Weird dietary habits aside, he is very loyal, kind, and a tad bit hyper due to all the soda he drinks. Even though he is new to the clan, he has already made lots of friends with the other dragons. Hey, every scroll needs an oddball!
