Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One day, Wizardmon was meditating quietly when he was set upon by a group of fierce Vampire Dragons. Panicked, he teleported himself as far away as he could, only to find himself in the middle of an unfamiliar wasteland. Drained of magic and too injured to fly, he could only wander aimlessly in search of help. He found no food or water for days, and at last he collapsed, unable to take another step. He closed his eyes and waited to die. Instead, he felt something tickling his nose. It was a Misfit Pygmy called Tailmon, who tickled and teased him until he grew angry enough to haul himself to his feet and chase her. She ran ahead of him, always just out of his reach, until she led him to a hidden pool where he could find water and food. Ever since then, the two of them have been fast friends.

Wizardmon has a calm, serious personality, and spends much of his time contemplating the mysteries of the universe. Under his best friend's influence, however, he is developing a sly sense of humor.
