Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
No one likes Chomps. She isn't friendly, she isn't sad, she's isn't murderous, she isn't nothing, she isn't shy, she isn't loud. Put simply, she is just that--simple. Not simple as in unintelligent, but simple in the sense that her personality has about as much depth as a river run dry. And because of this, it is now an unspoken rule that this dragon does not exist. She is not to be fed, she is not to be spoken to, she is not to be hurt, she is not to be acknowledged.
Chomps was not always like this. As a hatchling, she laughed and danced and sang, a favorite among every one of her clan mates. Soon, however, she heard of the others speaking of the sunrise and sunset, and how beautiful they were. "It's a shame," they said, "that such a pretty dragon like Chomps is unable to see it." Tormented by her desire to see it but trapped as a breed active only at night, Chomps slowly turned into the lifeless shell she is today, always waiting for the opportunity that will never arise.
