False-Headed Hydra Dragons actually only have two heads. Despite their appearance, their tails are pure muscle and lack any internal organs. In combat, their false heads are used to bait their enemies into attacking their tails instead of their more vulnerable heads, creating openings to strike back. These dragons have been known to frighten and intimidate other species by holding their tails close to their necks, making it look like they are a larger, more threatening four headed beast. They also use their tails to help them hunt their prey, confusing their targets in various ways. Their scale coloration and hunting habits vary depending on their environment. False-Headed Hydras can regrow their tails if they are cut off or badly damaged.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

Shared and Spread's behavior is odd, and some people find his eccentricity scary. On the days he's found in Polee du Winker, he spends the whole time lodging complaints against all kinds of organizations, mostly governmental. What surprises people is that they are reasonable complaints, or at least complaints that any denizen could believably make. People are pretty sure that this snaky dragon is only a visitor, not an inhabitant of Winker, yet his complaints are familiar: the lack of safety at a crossroad, the dust coming out of Woodwork Factorium, the middling cream millet harvest, the number of feral drakes in Kufernt Garden, and so on. The city and region have some resources about false-headed hydra dragons, and Shared and Spread acts in none of the ways described by the documents. He has stated that alongside lodging complaints, he also likes lodging stakes and harpoons in things as a hunting tactic, and people of Winker are just glad he doesn't do that while in town.
