Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She would like to be known as "Grass", since she finds her actual given name rather silly. People wonder if "Grass" is any better, but she's secretive about her real moniker, so they presume it must be really long, insipid, or stuffy. This, along with some other issues, is why she didn't have a great relationship with her parents—unsophisticated and needlessly violent, she says of them. When she moved to Crule under this "supreme leader" for whom ceding leadership is the last thing on his mind, the new living arrangement felt like a great improvement to her. Grass is an agile and magically skilled deputy of Crule Watch who commands respect from her subordinates. If someone doesn't finish a task in time, they'd better have a good reason. If they do have a legitimate concern, though, Grass does soften up and give them more time, or assigns help, or even joins them herself. The head of the Watch knows that when he retires (or dies), his second-in-command will be a worthy replacement.
