Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gioria loves to hunt and woo. Any opportunity she has to show off her hunting skills she takes, often seeking out potential mates simply to hunt for them. She doesn't care if she gets scorned before the next breeding season or if stones are stolen from her hoard so long as she gets to go hunting. Sometimes she courts several males at once, just to show off that she can support them all with her hunting prowess. She also competes in a lot of hunting competitions, especially those which offer rewards of green stones—the main source of rocks for her hoard.

The only time she settles down is when Givind comes inland to see her. He is the only male she considers as more than a trophy to feed and display. He also brings her many green corals and shells from the ocean, but she loves his doting attention more than the material gifts.
