Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zoey Ark is the proud daughter of Blake Ark and Clara Oakzen. She is very close to her family, even the members outside of the immediate cave, the family that adopted her father. Zoey admires her big brother Zeke Ark more than anyone; he's always nice to everybody. Recently, since she grew up, Zoey has fallen in love with Mitch Greensburg. She met him when she was washed ashore one day. She was gasping and flailing on the beach, her father too far away to help her, when Mitch passed by. He used his earthquake ability to knock her back into the water. Zoey thanked him, and they soon started seeing one another. They got married and love one another.
