Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Just before her egg hatched, it rolled out of the nest and into a patch of morning glories and the hatchling woke, warmed by the morning sun, to find itself in a patch of purple flowers. That was how Morning Gloriish earned her name. She is a sweet and gentle-natured dragon who loves rising early each morning to watch the flowers bloom in the spring and summer. When things get cooler, she loves how the sunlight sparkles off morning frost. She's often found with a group of other dragons listening to the conversation or flying in the warm sunshine. She's never seen on rainy days though for she prefers to stay in the cave asleep, dreaming of warm meadows filled with her favorite flower, the morning glory.
